One of the nicest spaces at Mellington Hall (in a building full of fascinating corners) is the William Morris room, named after the designs by that great artist which adorn the ceiling. As part of our continuing improvements we have just refurnished the room to bring it up to standard.
Morris himself urged us to “Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful”, so we hope we have passed his test. Complete with its own bar, the room is ideal for private parties. As you can see in the background of the top picture, it also has its own working fireplace: perfect for this time of year!
